Cellphones and other electronic devices contain extremely valuable metals like gold and silver. It is recorded that the US alone throws away cellphones with $60 million worth of gold/silver yearly. With increased recycling, more money can be saved from responsible care of these items.
SPREAD AWARENESS
Hold electronic waste drives. Educate your peers on the issues electronic waste causes in other countries. Spend less time involved in a screen and more in person time connecting with other.
